Get What You Pays For: the Music Video

I have put together a no-budget, complete nonsense video for Get What You Pays For. It features some footage of Pippin, the cat from the single artwork. And lots of creepy looping. I must admit, it’s mainly an excuse to put something on youtube.

Angular Spirals / Get What You Pays For

Angular Spirals / Get What You Pays For is my new double A-side single. It’s a 7″ black vinyl record, limited to 500 copies. It is available at Videosyncratic on Cowley Road. A bonus CD-R is also available for online orders.

Announcement: New Single on the Way

I am currently going through the arduous process of personally hand-etching two songs into 500 pieces of shiny black vinyl. These pieces of vinyl are flat, round and about seven inches in diameter. The songs will be Angular Spirals and Get What You Pays For. The former can already be heard on MySpace and other such online networking resources, while the latter is a brand new version completely different to the acoustic demo doing the rounds. I am unable to decide on the relative importance of these two songs, so the single is by virtue a double A-side. Get What You Pays For features glorious saxophone insanity by Pete Wareham of Acoustic Ladyland fame, and both tracks feature Stephen Gilchrist on drums and Ruth Goller on bass. I will set up a pre-order system soon.
